And the winner for Best Technology Content Video is… Intellezy!

We are honored – thrilled – to learn that we have received this award from The Craig Weiss Group (TCWG), and to be recognized as a leader in Third Party Content Videos.

Why are we so excited? For those who know about Craig and his firm, it will come as no surprise to learn that he is recognized by his peers as the most influential person in the world for learning systems, and top three in the world for e-learning space. And if you are not familiar with Craig and TCWG, now you know!

The reach of Craig and TCWG is far. Craig writes the E-learning 24/7 blog, which is read in 174 countries, territories, and colonial territories. For more than 20 years, TCWG has been considered one of the leading groups in the e-learning space. We have followed Craig and his thought leadership for many years and have the highest respect for him and what he adds to the industry.

Now, back to the awards…

This year was the first for the TCWG Best Content Awards, so it is especially exciting to be part of this – yes, we will say it – prestigious inaugural event. A panel of experts evaluated over 100 submissions and considered the following in their scoring.

Judging Areas:

· Video: We include both onscreen and motion graphics to enforce our training

· Quality and Usability: Highest quality and SCORM compliant

· Usefulness and Engagement: Our full course videos and micro-learning include information the end-user will need in the field. We break down the course for quick, easy reference with a table of contents

· Adoption in the Real World: It’s a huge priority at Intellezy - that what we are teaching you in our online training can be used once you’re out in the field. Our instructors use relatable examples, walk you through real-world scenarios, and provide the viewer with tools to drive adoption.

The judges for TCWG thought our videos were good as well! Videos were evaluated on a wide range of areas in order to determine the winners. Intellezy took the top prize for the “Technology” category and as TCWG explained in their announcement found here, “[Intellezy’s] technology content just rocked.”

In addition to our first-place accolade, Intellezy took home the prize for second place in Best Off the Shelf Content (Overall). As TCWG describes, our entry “scored high across the board, especially with usefulness… [Intellezy is] very good for tech-focused content.”

We will take these compliments, any day!

TCWG awards provided recognition to off-the-shelf content – meaning that this competition did not take into consideration any custom video content. Intellezy offers a variety of off-the-shelf technology videos, as well as custom videos – all are SCORM compliant. We are indeed proud of our videos and content – they are high quality with forward thinking content. We provide the audience with onscreen trainers and motion graphics that not only keep the audience engaged, but also help with knowledge retention. All of our lessons are also broken down into micro lessons with a table of contents. Craig Weiss believes having a table of contents to coincide with the micro-learning model is important and “better for the learner.” And we have to agree.
