We were very pleased with Intellezy’s services, including their professional guidance and customized training services. We enjoyed working with their team and look forward to future training engagements under our new, larger company.

Result

Intellezy was successful in delivering training that met the exact needs and desires of the client. As part of the approach, small group training sessions were scheduled and conducted in Teams which increased user engagement and comfort for a better adoption experience. Employees from multiple locations attended training to ensure alignment of skills and use across the organization. Additionally, Intellezy offset the demand for internal IT support by offering post-go-live support to individual employees in real time to ensure a smooth rollout. Custom quick reference cards were created and used to help employees refresh on key features they would need to use, and initial and post-go-live assessments were conducted to determine where additional training may be needed during the client’s merger.

Background

The company recognized that the sister company was ahead in the Teams adoption process, and they needed a timely solution to prevent communication breakdowns caused by technology use differences at the time of the merger. They needed an agile approach to skill up their team members in Boston to ensure their technological capabilities were not in question by the time of the merger.

Objectives

Migrate employees at the client’s Boston location over to Microsoft Teams to streamline communication and enhance collaboration with oncology experts at other locations, which include Utah and Japan. Intellezy had to also support the IT department in designing and delivering a strategy to train all employees.

Microsoft Teams Adoption Solution

Intellezy conducted an analysis of the company’s needs and discovered precisely where the organization was in the Microsoft Teams adoption process in comparison to its sister company. The team worked with the client to think proactively, ahead of the merger, and developed a training strategy that supported and aligned with best practices for the Microsoft Teams adoption process. To be more specific about the process - recommendations were provided for helping users migrate from Skype for Business to the Microsoft Teams environment. Intellezy stood up a pilot of the training based on the insight we gained on precise needs, as well as an analysis of resources, including the time, learning environment, and budget available. The client and Intellezy team met regularly with key project members and made changes prior to training delivery based on priorities, oversights, and input of multiple stakeholders.
