Course description

This course teaches learners how to use Copilot in SharePoint to create content, organize libraries, and surface insights across a SharePoint site. Participants begin by exploring how Copilot transforms natural language into polished, structured SharePoint pages. They learn to draft new pages, rewrite existing content, and generate layouts, sections, and web‑part suggestions. As the course will cover, Copilot can produce a full page draft, including headings, summaries, and structured content from a simple prompt. The second module focuses on improving document libraries. Learners see how Copilot builds metadata‑rich libraries, suggests columns, and autoconfigures tagging rules. They also practice asking Copilot to tag uploaded files with the help of practice files, available in a ZIP downloadable format. Next, participants learn to search and summarize content across SharePoint. Copilot answers natural‑language questions, summarizes documents, and compares files side‑by‑side, highlighting differences, similarities, and version changes. The final module covers announcements and news posts. Learners practice drafting posts from prompts, transforming documents into updates, and refining tone and structure. With the correct prompts, Copilot can draft full announcements, summarize long documents, and suggest layouts, sections, and visuals. By the end, learners can confidently use Copilot to create pages, organize libraries, extract insights, and publish polished communications.
