This course is designed to help learners master essential data management and analysis skills in Google Sheets. Through twelve lessons, participants will explore how to import, organize, protect, and analyze data using powerful tools like named ranges and PivotTables. The course begins with importing Excel data into Google Sheets and linking data across sheets and spreadsheets using formulas like IMPORTRANGE. Learners will then discover how to protect specific sheets or ranges to maintain data integrity while enabling collaboration. The course introduces named ranges—custom labels for cell ranges that simplify formulas and improve readability—and demonstrates how to use them in calculations for totals and averages. A major focus is placed on PivotTables, a dynamic tool for summarizing and analyzing repetitive data. Learners will build PivotTables from scratch, apply filters, and manipulate rows, columns, and values to uncover insights. They’ll also learn how to create charts from PivotTables, customize them for clarity, and use slicers to add interactive filtering options. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to manage complex datasets, create dynamic summaries, and present data visually and interactively.
