Course description

Running a workflow once is useful. Running it across many inputs, by hand, every quarter is where time quietly disappears. This final module of the Claude Cowork series shows you how to turn a workflow into a system — a single assignment that Cowork carries out end to end, with no manual orchestration between steps. You will follow Ethan Cane, CEO of the fictional Arrowmar Co., as he tackles a task every leader recognizes: reviewing quarterly performance across three regional offices and producing one consolidated summary for the board. Instead of analyzing each region and stitching the results together himself, Ethan describes the entire outcome once and lets Cowork read all three files, analyze each, and write the consolidated summary on its own. Along the way you will learn the real cost of manual repetition, what makes an assignment "end-to-end," and how to write a strong assignment using the CAST framework ( Context, Action, Specifics, and Tone). You will also learn the habit that matters most when automating at scale: refining your assignment before you run it, because a weakness repeated across every input becomes many flawed outputs at once. By the end, you will be able to design, refine, and run a single Cowork assignment that handles multiple inputs and produces a polished, consolidated deliverable, and verify the result before you rely on it. You will leave with a repeatable system you can reuse, not just a task you completed once.
