Course description
Claude Cowork is more than a smarter chat window. It is a workspace where you describe an outcome and watch it get done. But knowing Cowork exists is not the same as knowing when to reach for it, or how to make it work well. This course closes that gap. Module 2 of the Claude Cowork series focuses on the workflow most knowledge workers encounter every day: researching a topic, making sense of what you find, and turning it into a finished document. In regular Claude chat, that means running a search, copying out the results, uploading your own files by hand, cross-referencing everything yourself, and drafting from scratch. In Cowork, it is one assignment. You will start by learning how to decide when a task belongs in Cowork rather than chat. From there, you will build the two halves of the research-and-document workflow: how to scope and run a research task that draws on both live web sources and your own files, how to review what comes back before you rely on it, and how to feed reviewed research into a document template to produce a polished deliverable. The module closes with a full end-to-end demonstration, one, and a hands-on exercise that lets you run the same workflow on a topic of your own. By the end, you will have a repeatable, reliable approach to one of the most time-consuming tasks in any knowledge-work role.
