Most people open Claude for the first time, type a question, and move on. But that is just the begining. Most users do not realize that Claude is running at a fraction of its potential. The difference between default Claude and a properly configured Claude is not about being smarter with prompts. It is about telling Claude who you are, how you work, and which tools it can reach — once — so that every conversation after is better without extra effort. In this course, you will complete a practical, step-by-step setup of your Claude account in approximately fifteen minutes. You will visit five areas of the Claude interface that most users overlook: your global User Preferences, where you tell Claude about your role and communication style; the Capabilities settings, where you enable Memory so Claude can learn and remember context across sessions; the Artifacts and code execution toggles that unlock Claude's ability to produce documents, charts, and files; the Projects feature, where you create a persistent workspace for your recurring work; and the Connectors panel, where you link Claude to the tools you already use, such as Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, and Microsoft 365. By the end of this course, you will have a fully configured Claude account. One ready to support your daily work from the very next conversation.
