Most workers might not be as productive as they would like because they’re using the wrong application for the work that needs to be completed. You are not alone; this is a common issue within organizations. Though Microsoft© offers applications that are interchangeable, there are unique applications designed to help users be more productive.

As with any software migration, the key to successfully upgrading Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams extends beyond the technical deployment. While that piece of the puzzle is necessary, a successful rollout doesn’t automatically spell success. The best outcome ultimately centers on the people who will use the technology – not the technology itself.

The working world will continue to evolve, so it’s important that companies adapt their training to address those changes accordingly. Remaining flexible and being able to pivot and adjust to new employee needs will play a major role in organizational success throughout 2021. The main takeaway is: training is more vital than ever!

If you weren’t using software to train people prior to the pandemic, then you certainly are now. If you didn’t know what micro learning was before the pandemic, then you certainly do now. The word virtual may have referred to things in the far distant future in the past, but now, virtual everything is front and center.

Technology is everywhere and we cannot escape it. So, let’s embrace it! Some people may be reluctant to change the way they do things because it involves using technology that’s new to them. People fear change and thus they fear technology too! It’s understandable and quite normal to fear the unknown, but one way to overcome fear is to acknowledge it and learn how to overcome it.

Because of the pandemic, many of us who were used to working in an office, now work exclusively from home -we conducted an internal exercise to identify lessons learned and determine ways to mitigate the challenges as we pivot to the new normal. Here is what we learned.

The first recommendation is to change your mind set about eLearning. When a company provides learning opportunities to its employees, it can suggest the company cares enough about its people (or productivity) to offer a chance to enhance and improve their existing skillsets.

Now that we are all working from home during these times of social distancing, the way we work and collaborate with our coworkers on a daily basis has changed. We find ourselves keeping in touch and meeting with each other in online, virtual meetings. There are many different virtual meeting platforms out there to choose from. One of the most popular choices being selected by many companies as their means to collaborate and get things done is Microsoft Teams.
