Course description
This focused course explains how to enrich worksheets with 3D models, screenshots, hyperlinks, symbols, and equations. You’ll see how to insert and manipulate 3D content, using preset views, pan and zoom, precise height and width controls, and rotation in three dimensions. Arrangement tools are covered in context, including bringing objects forward or sending backward, using the Selection Pane to manage layers, grouping related elements, aligning to grid or content, and resetting views when needed. You’ll then capture visuals efficiently by inserting full-window screenshots or targeted screen clippings, and refine them with picture corrections, color adjustments, artistic effects, borders, compression, cropping, rotation, and exact sizing. Next, you’ll add navigation with hyperlinks, linking to specific sheets or cells, external files, webpages, or email addresses, and understand how display text and targets help readers move through workbooks quickly. Finally, you’ll insert built-in equations and symbols, edit equation placeholders, distinguish between objects floating above the grid and characters stored in cells, and use subsets in the symbol library to find what you need fast. Accessibility practices, such as adding alternative text, are highlighted so your visuals communicate clearly for every viewer. By the end, you will understand how these features work together to present information more clearly without clutter.
