Copilot Create: The Future of Creative Design Course Description
Microsoft 365 Copilot Create is Microsoft’s new AI‑powered design workspace. Built into the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, it helps users quickly make images, banners, and videos from a text description or a selection of templates. Copilot Create is part of the broader Copilot license and brings generative design capabilities—powered by GPT‑4—directly into Word and PowerPoint, enabling teams to produce on‑brand visuals without specialized design skills. The Create module lets you choose what to build: images, posters, videos, forms, and more. When generating images, you can describe the scene you want, pick a style (photorealistic, surreal, anime, etc.), optionally supply a reference image, choose a brand kit and color palette, and select a size; Copilot then produces several options for you to refine. Poster design follows a similar pattern—describe your poster or pick a template, customize colors or brand kits, and Copilot produces four suggestions that you can edit and download. Video creation starts with a description or a PowerPoint upload, after which Copilot assembles a short video; users can adjust narration voice and background music via the AI editor and switch to Clipchamp for deeper edits. You can even create forms by selecting a template and adding details. Brand kits, managed by designated brand managers, supply logos, colors, fonts, and templates to ensure consistency across all outputs. This course uses real‑world examples and a conversational style to demonstrate how Copilot Create boosts creativity and productivity, while also discussing limitations such as reduced fine‑grained control and the importance of thoughtful prompts.
