Course description

This course shows how to prepare worksheets for clean, predictable output, from first preview to final export. You’ll begin with Print Preview to diagnose splitting into pages, read page break indicators, and choose what to print: active sheets, entire workbooks, or selected ranges. You’ll set print areas, insert or remove manual page breaks, and switch orientations to fit content intelligently. Next, you’ll refine layout in Page Layout and Page Setup: choose paper sizes, set standard or custom margins, apply scaling options to fit columns or rows on a page, and reset breaks when structure changes. You’ll configure Print Titles so header rows or columns repeat consistently across pages, improving readability for multi-page reports. Then you’ll add headers and footers the right way, page numbers, dates, file names or paths, and sheet names, so every page carries context, avoiding fragile merged-cell “titles.” Along the way, you’ll learn when to collate, print double-sided, or limit page ranges, and how choices affect legibility. Finally, you’ll export polished, non-editable copies to PDF or XPS, selecting page ranges, optimization for print or online viewing, and ensuring page-break logic matches your print setup. By the end, you’ll understand how to preview, paginate, and package worksheets so they print neatly and share clearly, with consistent structure that travels well from screen to page
