Course description

This course teaches learners how to organize, format, and align data efficiently in Microsoft Excel 2019 by mastering the use of rows, columns, and cell layout. Learners begin by inserting, deleting, and modifying rows and columns using menu commands, right-click options, and keyboard shortcuts. The lessons show how to add single or multiple rows and columns, remove unnecessary worksheet areas, and adjust row height or column width for better visibility. Participants also learn to use AutoFit to resize rows and columns automatically based on content, while applying manual adjustments for greater control over worksheet appearance. The course also covers hiding and unhiding rows and columns, explaining how hidden data remains available for calculations while staying out of view. Learners distinguish between hidden and deleted data and practice revealing or concealing information when working with large worksheets. Building on these structural skills, the course introduces formatting and alignment tools that improve readability and presentation. Learners apply font styles, colors, borders, and fill options to emphasize important data, and use alignment features such as center, middle, and justify positioning to improve interpretation. Additional tools include Wrap Text, Merge and Center, and text orientation adjustments. By the end, learners will be able to create clear, professional, and well-organized worksheets.
