Course description

This course introduces learners to essential organizational tools in Outlook 365 that support efficient email management and navigation. Participants begin by exploring the folder pane, learning how to access, create, and manage folders to organize incoming and outgoing messages. The course highlights default folders such as Inbox, Deleted Items, Drafts, Junk, and Archive, and explains how to use subfolders for added structure. Learners are guided through the process of creating new folders, moving or copying them, and recovering deleted items when needed. The course also covers the Favorites tab, which allows users to pin frequently accessed folders for quicker navigation. By customizing the Favorites section, learners can streamline their workflow and reduce time spent searching for key messages. Additional lessons focus on filtering and sorting messages to improve visibility and prioritization. Participants learn how to sort emails by date, sender, importance, or attachment status, and how to filter messages to display only unread items, flagged content, or mentions. The course also explains how to toggle the Focused Inbox view and adjust display settings to suit individual preferences. Throughout the course, learners gain familiarity with Outlook’s interface and ribbon tools, enabling them to personalize their workspace and manage messages more effectively. By the end, participants will be able to organize folders, customize views, and apply sorting and filtering techniques to enhance their Outlook experience.
