Excel 365 offers far more than formulas and charts—it can be molded to fit how you think and work. This advanced, yet welcoming course shows you how to take control of the application itself so every workbook opens in a familiar, efficient environment. You’ll learn to design custom Ribbon tabs and groups, surface high-value commands in the Quick Access Toolbar, and export or import these setups for portability. We’ll explore the Options dialog in depth: General preferences (default fonts, views, and theme), Formulas (calculation behavior, use of table names, GETPIVOTDATA, and error checking), Proofing and AutoCorrect (including custom replacements and exceptions), and Save settings (AutoSave, AutoRecover frequency, default locations, and file formats). You’ll also dive into Advanced settings that shape editing and display, such as Enter-key direction, mouse-wheel zoom, Paste and Insert options, custom lists for fast fills, and chart/image behavior. Along the way you’ll see where to reset changes, toggle built-in tabs on or off, and understand which choices are profile-wide versus workbook-specific, so you can configure with confidence and avoid surprises. Whether you’re standardizing desktops across a team or simply removing friction from daily analysis, you’ll finish with a streamlined Excel that behaves consistently, reflects your standards, and helps you move faster with fewer clicks.
