Course description
This course teaches learners how to create, design, and publish web pages in SharePoint 365 to present content and information in a clear, visually engaging way. Participants begin by learning about Site Pages, customizable web spaces where text, images, and content from lists or libraries can be combined into a cohesive layout. The lessons explain how to create new pages from the home screen or the Site Pages library, differentiate between modern and classic page types, and publish content using the modern page editor. Learners add and format content by inserting text and images through web parts, using formatting tools for headings, lists, colors, and hyperlinks, and arranging sections into one, two, or three column layouts. They insert and position images using stock or uploaded media, add captions and alternative text, and adjust size and placement. Participants then use web parts to embed lists and document libraries, display filtered data through selected views, and apply dynamic filtering to connect multiple web parts. The course also covers buttons, quick links, hero banners, calendars, image galleries, countdown timers, and embedded Power BI or Forms content, including how to customize display, adjust size, and toggle visibility options. By the end, learners can build collaborative pages that combine text, visuals, and embedded tools to enhance communication, accessibility, and engagement.
